Frequently Asked TV or Display Questions (FAQ's)
(Note: Many of these questions and answers apply to almost every Direct View TV, Projection TV, CRT Video Wall Engine, or Computer Monitor. Most will not apply to Plasma, LCD or DLP displays. Information specific to those are below.)

There were 2 pictures
here
supplied by TV manufacturers to illustrate a flat screen. On the flat screen illustrations
were simulated pictures. Those simulated pictures apparently are the
property of Getty Images which we were unaware of. How could we possibly know? They have been removed as Getty Images has threatened us for the use of their images on TV manufacturer supplied pictures. I guess they need the money to go after a TV repair shop who used pictures supplied by a manufacturer. |
What do I need to watch DTV or
HDTV? DTV (including HDTV) today is
available over-the-air using a standard antenna or via digital cable or
satellite. However you receive your TV signal, you will need DTV equipment
to decode and view the SD, ED or HD quality DTV programming.
